Hurricane Helene - followed by MIlton destroyed my home, the marina, our tourism industry; and left much devastation in its wake. I went on hiatus, but I am back! Tourism is coming back - it always does. Yes, in November 2025 I broke my hip and shattered my femur. I did get a titanium rod in my thigh and nails to my hip. But I am in perfect health and made a fast recovery. I will ask for assistance unloading and reloading the kayaks from the trailer, but once we are off nothing wrong with my arms. Kayak 200 days a year the past 8 years - and you will be in great health as well. One of the reasons I continue to do this. I will be making some significant changes going forward so please bear with me. Sorry, but I can't divulge what all I am up to online here as certain people stalk my website and I am not giving them any clues. Just trust it will be awesome! New location, new website and the revolutionary Fluxjet - jet powered kayaks! The Coconut Kayak Tours breaks all the rules and does do things differently. I remain a 1 man show and I run the business. I do not allow the business to run me. I am as busy as I want to be. I do not spend $1000's on Sponsored Google results or pay 20 -30% commissions to Online Travel agencies (OTA's) Booking sites like Viatour- owned by Trip Advisors. My advice never book your attraction tickets in advance with a 3rd party, should you need to cancel or wish for a refund - keep wishing. It's most likely never coming. Most all of my business comes by word of mouth from all the hotel concierges, front desk - restaurant waitstaff, bartenders, Uber drivers etc. Please mention whom referred you, so I can be sure to thank them. If I am booked up or am busy and can't take you. I am happy to suggest one of my kayak pals that run an honest - good operation and answer any questions you may have. Call on the telephone is best. I am a talker - not a texter!

We haven't forgotten about the younger adventurers! For kids typically aged 6-12, we have two fantastic learning kayaks – the High 5 from Perception. These hybrid SUP/ kayaks are designed for smaller paddlers, providing a safe and enjoyable introduction to the world of kayaking. And yes, if you'd prefer to share a kayak with Mom or Dad you can take our tandem/ triple. Seats Dad and two small children. I also have the giant Flying Rainbow Unicorn.
